Jun's philosophy on art is that it lies in the coordination between spirit and matter, and between color and space.
The influence from the East is in the pursuit of the absolute and the pure in "emptiness." In the West, meanwhile, it's color, and the pursuit of the greatest extremes in material.
From the Heart Sutra, which says that "form [se É: literally 'color'] is emptiness and emptiness is form," one realizes that the two are in fact the same. Thus she used clear, distinct forms and strive to pursue the greatest intersection of emptiness (space) and color (form), to reach the ultimate state, and to express an aesthetic view of her own.

Jun's study of graphic art in New York gave her much new inspiration. She got reacquainted with images, materials, and textures, and became freer in their use.
Her work in oil and acrylic paints gradually shifted to the use of transparent materials, like acrylic, and it began developing three dimensions. She experimented with sculpture, with expressing spatial tension, exploring the relationship between the work and its space. The artist has developed an interest in the site of a work, with integrating a work's relationship with people and extending it into the expression of public art.
